Jennifer Kirkland, ASID
Principal and Designer
Jennifer is a professional Interior Designer herself. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, she passed the NCIDQ and became a professional member of ASID in 1990. Having worked in the field since 1983 she transitioned to this “behind the scenes” business in 2009. Since then she has used her expertise and experience to help designers create the perfect settings for their clients. Her years as a designer allow her to understand the vision of the designer and make it a reality. She can assist designers from conception to creation with the skills she acquired walking in their shoes.
Robert “Bob” Stella
Principal and Master Carpenter
Bob graduated from Phoenix School of Design in New York City as a Graphic Designer. Later in his career he was production manager of a multi-million dollar full color printing firm producing fine brochures and magazines. Prior to purchasing Carolina Window Designs he spent 10 years as a fine cabinet and trim carpenter. Bob is the hard treatment expert and has extensive knowledge regarding shutters, blinds and shades as well as motorization. His vast experience with detail and carpentry create the perfect combination for professional installations.
Teresa Knoll
Interior Design Consultant
Teresa moved to the Low Country in July 2019 and joined Carolina Window Designs in September. She has been working in the window treatment business for the past 25 years. Having owned her own drapery workroom in Chicagoland and the Houston area for 20 plus years combined. Teresa brings her knowledge of drapery and bedding fabrication, as well as blind, fabric, trim and hardware sales to Carolina Window Designs. She loves working with her clients to find the right drapery and/or shades to fit each clients home and unique family lifestyles. In her spare time Teresa loves to explore the Hilton Head area with her husband, Dennis, spending time on the beach, and enjoying the island way of life.
